Watnall Farm Shop was established in 2008 to run along side the farming business here at Hall Farm Watnall. The family have been farming in Watnall since 1949.
The farm comprises of 120 suckler cows and calves which are grazed on surrounding pastures in the Watnall area in the spring & summer months. We also have an arable area growing Oil Seed Rape, Maize, Wheat, Barley & Potatoes. The farm is CMI / Red Tractor Approved.
We pride ourselves in sourcing home and locally produced meat & vegetables, by doing this we provide full traceability.
Our beef is traditionally hung on the bone for a minimum of 21 days. All meat is prepared by our master butcher on the premises. We also cure or own bacon & make a variety of home made sausages.
The shop also hosts an on site bakery where we make a selection of meat pies, pork pies, sausage rolls etc. as well as sweet pastries, brownies and our fantastic butterscotch tart – a real treat.
